We will transform the Sheraton Waterside into a swanky ForKids Casino and you can Pay to Play with "ForKids Cash" ($10 buys $100). Entrance tickets include $100 playing money. Try your hand against Lady Luck in our two pits with 26 gaming tables of Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, Texas Hold'em and an Interactive Horserace.

The ForKids Reverse Auction
Raise Your Paddle to Buy Services for our Families!
A Reverse Auction will be conducted at some point during the Live Auction. This means the prices get lower the further the bidding goes. We hope this will allow everyone to be a bidder (and buyer) in this special auction.
The list below represents the cost of services that ForKids provides to families in our community. We hope you will consider making a contribution at one of the following levels through our Reverse Auction to help us continue our important work. Every donor in the Reverse Auction will take home a matted ForKids print from the 2010 Children's Art Auction.

$10,000 - 200 nights of emergency shelter for one child

$5,000 - Hot Meals and Homework for 3 children for one year (after school tutoring, transportation, computers, snacks and dinner for the whole family once a week)

$2,500 - Two weeks of mental health counseling services for 40 adults and 65 children

$1,500 - One much-needed computer with software for support staff at Suffolk House Emergency Shelter

$1,000 - One week of overnight summer camp for two children

$750 - 1080 meals for a child living at Suffolk House Emergency Shelter

$500 - Food for 8 families and their children for 1 month at Haven House Emergency Shelter

$250 - Two weeks of childcare for a parent who is job searching

$100 - Gas for one van to provide one month of transportation to medical, dental, mental health and social service appointments.

$50 - Two starter kits of household items for families moving to permanent housing.
ForKids will receive all Reverse Auction gifts as unrestricted gifts which will help fund the work of the organization. Gifts of $500 or more by individuals will be eligible for Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) Tax Credits. More info on NAP credits can be found here>>.
